“Love what you do and do what you love. Don’t listen to anyone else who tells you not to do it. You do what you want, what you love. Imagination should be the centre of your life.”
This quote is (supposedly) from American author, Ray Bradbury (b. 1920, d. 2012).
Bradbury was certainly a man that had imagination at the centre of his life - writing mostly science-fiction and fantasy novels.
There are many derivations of this quote, but to put it simply: do what you love.
Not only in the positive, sweet and nice sense, but in the sense of how are you going to become wealthy and free.
What I really believe is the greatest path for you, is the one that you love.
Our mind and our body often act instinctively, but we often choose to ignore our greatest ambitions and dreams, for a life of comfort and “safety”.
This has a negative effect of making us bitter, sad, and lonely.
However, it is has never been easier to chase your grandest dreams.
Today, you can connect with nearly 8 billion potential customers, readers, subscribers, patients, students and friends.
You, and only you, can take that first tentative step towards chasing your dreams.
Do not allow yourself to be overwhelmed with all the million steps in between.
What is important is that you take that first step - no matter how small.
Even if it is to make sure you speak to one person each day.
Death is inevitable, happiness is not.
You are the master of your own destiny.
